I'm flummoxed...when the frell did Marshall appear in Cincinnati? Going by Rachel's comments, it seems there's a story there, but he seems to spawn between books 5 &6. Please help!

Jennifer Snider Byrd Rachel met Marshall in Book 4 when she was helping Nick out of town. Marshall then shows up in Cincinnati in book 6 for a job interview.
