i had planned to read the Rebel and the myth of sisyphus, but i found The Myth of Sisyphus to be unintelligible. is this a better written book? should i bother reading it or will i just get more garble like i got in Sisyphus?

I would suggest giving Sisyphus another shot if you're still interested. I found reading Bertrand Russel's History of Western Philosophy, Nietzsche, and Kafka beforehand helped me a lot to understand his references.

Overall, I enjoyed reading the Rebel but it is repetitive at times and prone to having the "garble" you were referring to. (less)
