Concrete examples of real life situations helps me to learn and grow. Vague ideas of "love" and "forgiveness" do not work for me as they do not deal with the reality of life and the harm that can happen. If someone rapes and beats you, forgive them? What does that mean. Do not spend your time prosecuting them and preventing them from harming other women? How do ideas of love & forgiveness translate to real life?
