She hated staying in Aunt Rose…morePossibly Jadine had all these women wrapped up in her mind and couldn't let them go. They all flashed through her mind. She hated staying in Aunt Rose's home, she didn't like that little black town, she couldn't get these women out of her mind. She was so different than these ladies, she was afraid she would be like them or people would consider her like them. She hated having them crowd out her mind, she hated the little town and staying with Aunt Rose. She was not who these ladies are, she is different, she is herself, not one of a crowd. (less)
