Did anyone else find this volume more engaging than Mitford #1, At Home?

Judith Yes, I found it more engaging and had a harder time putting it down.

Why are some of Father Tim’s letters horrendously spelled? This seems quite out of character since he is articulate and his other letters aren’t full of misspellings.

Hope I think it was to show that he was a terrible typist. Those letters were hammered out on his old-fashioned manual typewriter in his church office.
