I find it odd that there is no mention of the free Gutenberg .pdf download: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/25457/25457-pdf.pdf Is it not 'Goodreads' responsibility to its constituents to provide easy (cheap) access. I'm not opposed to free enterprise, but this 'PDF' can be picked up on any 'E-Reader' for less than $9.99. What's up with that?

Tedd Vazquez I actually find complicated the relationship between goodreads and Project Gutenberg; as I'm writing this I just finished adding that edition to the w…moreI actually find complicated the relationship between goodreads and Project Gutenberg; as I'm writing this I just finished adding that edition to the website, and because many titles don't have a cover, none has ISBN's; many people don't add them or do it so incorrectly; what I do is putting the number of the book (which is in the bibrec tab) in the title to find them easily; my hypothesis is not that it is not related to money, but rather to proprietary vs libre; just as an ebook from amazon cannot be read anywhere (but in their products) they try to cut all contact from the open culture movement. Ridicule when you see how well organized gutenberg is.(less)
