Works of cyberpunk fiction, as far as I understand, depict a grittier, more technologically advanced world. Pawn, I think, focuses a bit too much on the higher class and politics, and its worldbuilding is too close to contemporary to quite fit the genre. Some examples of cyberpunk include the Blade Runner franchise, the Cyberpunk 2020 Role Playing Game, and Ready Player One. Hope this helped!(less)
