You won't understand the connected family drama. But the story mostly isn't about that and it doesn't hurt at all to start with this one.(less)

I've read the series wow, years ago like when they first came out before Kindle was a thing. I'd love to have then on my kindle to reread again. but at $9 for a book that came out 10 plus years ago? makes me a sad panda
