Has the combined edition (Nirgendwo/Irgendwo) been heavily abridged ? I'm thinking it must be - the combined volume at 334 pages is shorter than either book alone. No font is that small... (Nirgendwo in Afrika alone is 384 pages and Irgendwo in Deutschland is another 335 pages)
