Currently, is this the "best" book about Grace Slick and her connection to this time period or are there others in everyone's opinion? Is there a "definitive" book on Grace or is this currently it?

Grace is the focus but it includes extensive interviews with all the band members, Jerry Slick and others in her orbit. I have not read Somebody to Love, but my sense from the comments is that Rowe's book is probably a more rounded portrait. It seems to be out of print tbough, so you'll have to search around. And it only goes up to 1980 - but she was leaving the band by then anyway.(less)
