I'm looking for high-lexile fiction books to read for a school project. As an 8th grader, is this a good book to choose?

Michael Lawlor I did when I was in 8th grade. Just turned 20, was a good book, definitely not a kids book, but great regardless.

Don't you think Rule of the Bone is a bit underrated these days? I think it's one of the best generational novels of the 90s, with timeless and universal value.
