Or, at least, he knows much more than the characters in the book. In "Cell" the reader knows as little as the characters - pretty much nothing. I was feeling like a member of the company, not knowing what the big picture is, how strong the enemy actually is. (less)

I'm not even half way through the book and I find it kinda boring. Who else felt this way besides me? Does the book pick up at all by chance?!?
