Hi - I have a soon to be 15 year old who saw Brian Cox on his tour. She enjoyed it - I'm thinking she might enjoy this book - but would it be too indepth for a teen audience ? Thanks in advance for any opinions. )Bit of history - she is very interested in the solar system and one of her favourite subjects is science.)

Can someone please explain how we supposedly move through space in 3 seperate curved/corkscrew elliptical linear trajectories, ranging from 66,00mph to 1.2 million mph, while spinning at 1,000mph......Long exposure images show star-trails forming perfect 360degree circles......this is impossible given the official NASA data above.......is there a working CGI model to confirm this?(or not)

Concurrently, the earth is revolving around the sun, but since that takes 365ish days to complete, an 8 hour exposure doesn't show much movement in the revolution around the sun. If you could take a 365 day exposure (or even a 10 day exposure) we would see 'smearing' of the perfect circles to which you refer.

Also, the three separate trajectories also include involve the earth around the sun and the sun around galaxy (which would require even longer exposures to see).(less)
