Which English translation is 1) the truest to the poetic language, 2) truest to the meter, and 3) accompanied by scholarly notation for someone who is reading this blindly? I have zero background in this literature but I would like to experience it (in English) with as close to authentic delivery and context as possible. I hope for one book (ISBN please?) in the answer but realise that may be too optimistic.
