There was as section of the book that spoke about the rewards of entering heaven and for the life of me I can't find it? I thought the words written would be beautiful to share at a funeral I hope someone remembers this section and help me because it left a lasting impression on my heart. I think it is page 297 (Ch. 36) where Ms. Acklen is talking about the death of her daughters and husbands. "Often times, through the years, Ms. Laurent...I've pondered how much is provided us by God's great goodness. So many sources of enjoyment and how grateful we should be. And if afflictions come...we should know they are of the hand of God...We should not expect to have all the blessings of life and none of the trials. It would make this world too delightful a dwelling place, and I fear we would never care to leave it...As I have come to believe it is only by taking some of those objects from us to which our hearts so closely cling that He endeavors....In His kindness, to draw us from this world and to one of greater happiness"(less)
