However, I think the first book was their epic love tale, which presumably would have endeared them to me.(less)

Did Rosey suddenly become Australian near the end of the book (p475)?? I'm assuming she started off as Australian and this was missed in the editing later on...

Juliek She was Australian and moved to California to be a dental assistant.
