The sin was definitely alarming, you are right on there; the picture that his conviction/redemption and their forgiveness draws is challenging and beautiful. The daughter still asked her dad to walk her down the aisle when she got married a few years later. Dillow does not say that this is what Christian families should do in that sort of situation though; she's very clear to always say "this is what THIS family/wife did in their/her situation." (less)
