I read the first book in this series (Gallow's End). Banks and Jenny work together on a case in that book as well. Banks started having the hots for Jenny in that book. She didn't appear in the second book of the series. In this particular book, she knows that he's a married man and yet she keeps tempting him to hit the sack with her - that's how it seems to me anyway. Their whole relationship is creepy.(less)
