Ok, so I am halfway through this book and I am becoming disinterested. Will the gospel ever be mentioned in this book??? Eric had suddenly "baptized" some Chinese students but never was there any mention of their conversion- nor Eric's, for that matter. Is this guy truly saved or not? Either he's born again according to God's way or he's not. It's hindering the story for me. Plus, now he's running again. Missions?????
