We heard your feedback and are excited to announce one of your most requested features: the Did Not Finish (DNF) shelf is rolling out over the coming weeks! Update the app to see your new shelf.

How It Works
📚 New default shelf: Mark a book Did Not Finish the same way as Want to Read, Currently Reading, or Read.
🔄 Move books between shelves: Your reviews, ratings, and reading history stay with your book.
📊 Record how far you got: Update your progress before setting a book aside.
🎯 Customize your Reading Challenge: Did Not Finish books with a read date count toward your goal; books without one don't.
 

If you previously created your own exclusive shelf named “did-not-finish”, “dnf”, “abandoned”, “unfinished,” “didn-t-finish” or “dropped,” we automatically converted it to the default shelf for you! Your books' data stayed with it.

If you don't see the Did Not Finish shelf yet, it will appear soon as we roll it out to all members. Update to the latest version of the app for the best experience. Visit the Help page for FAQs.
