Get Ready for Year in Books 2025
Year in Books is your very own personalized annual reading stats... and it's once again headed your way this December. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
How to Get Ready
1. Shelve your books! Review your My Books page to double-check that the books you've read this year are shelved on Goodreads with a 2025 read date. To receive your custom email, you'll need at least three books with a 2025 read date. Bonus: Your stats on the site and in the app will continue to update as you make changes until Dec. 31, so every last book gets counted.
2. Check your email settings. Make sure you're opted in to receive Goodreads email in your Account Settings. You won't want to miss this!
3. If you're a Kindle reader and have linked your Kindle and Goodreads accounts, your stats will include the books you've shelved on Goodreads with a 2025 read date. Books you’ve chosen to keep private on Kindle are excluded. If you’ve changed your mind, there's still time to add them to your Goodreads shelves!

Your annual Year in Books 2025 page will go live on Goodreads later this month, where you'll find your personalized reading stats. Your email will follow shortly after, rolling out over a few days to members who have read at least three books, so keep an eye on your inbox!
