Kilburn Adam Behold another list of "buzziest" books dictated by Goodreads' dubious metrics—because nothing screams originality like the most-clicked titles from a platform that increasingly rewards hype over substance. Measuring popularity by “Want to Read” shelves? Fascinating, considering half of those shelves are graveyards for books users will never actually pick up. But sure, let’s all marvel at this carefully curated echo chamber masquerading as literary insight. Which ones catch my eye? None, thanks—I prefer substance over algorithmic noise.
