The book series revolving around the greatest land empire in the known history, called Conqueror. Mongol Empire was 4 times larger than that of Alexander the Great and 2 times larger than Roman Empire. I hope there will be a movie or a TV series adaptation.

Bruny by Heather Rose. A brilliant book, part Political thriller, family saga and satire. Set in remote Tasmania but with a global reach. Brilliant!
My Every Breath a Memoir of Love, Loss and Hope is a true story living with Cystic Fibrosis, surviving a Double Lung Transplant and coping with a senseless murder. It’s a must read with many 5 star reviews.

Wow, Where the Crawdads Sing is still no. 1. I might just have to read it to find out why it's so popular.I'm currently reading The Secret History. I've waited for October since it suits the academic setting.
I am currently reading The Last Widow, A Gentleman in Moscow & 21 Lessons for the 21st Century. From this Most Read List, my favourites were Becoming, Before We Were Yours & The Silent Patient.
The Handmaid's Tale and The Testaments are in my TBR for October.

Have you read: Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson?

Crawdads a great read.
Educated I don´t know if I can say that I enjoy it because the things she writes about are so awful, but it is a very good book and it gives hope after all.

If that's who is posting their reads, I guess not much choice, but it is disappointing..."I've noticed the same thing, Stephanie. I am a guy who reads a lot of non-fiction, but I'm always on the lookout for a good fiction book. To judge from Goodreads, women are dominating the genre. I usually have to go to the classics or foreign authors to find a good male author.
I've just read 'The House Between Tides' by Sarah Maine. Two timelines, two tides a day, the Western Isles of Scotland beautifully depicted in this mist-filled mystery! Loved it.
Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis. Can’t recommend highly enough for every woman on the planet 👍

Somehow I didn't go ga-ga over Where the Crawdads Sing as did many of my friends. There was just something I didn't quite like about it...no sure what.Currently reading
American Lion Andrew Jackson in the White House
I'm reading "the Dovekeepers" by Alice Hoffman for the second time. This time for my Book Club "Let's Talk About It". Still SO GOOD!
What's up fellow readers? A youngish adult man walked into our Used Book Store and told me he NEVER READS FEMALE AUTHORS! When asked why, he said it's not because he's so macho or narrow-minded, they are just so "feminine, i guess"!
