Goodreads is not like Amazon or the library. Goodreads allows you to keep track of what books you've read, your to read list and what your favourite authors are doing.
I think I must be an atypical Goodreads reader. I have not read ANY of these and only have one marked as a want to read. Currently reading a book about the Durrell Family. I read lots of fantasy, loads of thrillers (but don't like Harlen Coben) and enjoy a good biography or historical novel.

Dear Goodreads.com16 of 20 of the titles on this list written by women.
Is this an indicator of a bigger trend: more good books written by women, or simply goodreads.com user profile and their preferences?
I've read 4 on your list -- with 5 others marked as to be read. One of my very favorites missing from the list and that I recommend is THE LOST MAN by Jane Harper.
