Some people in my life struggled (or flat-out refused) to use their correct pronouns, claiming it wasn't grammatically correct. So in typical Avery style, I decided I had to prove them wrong by writing a grammatically correct character study. I couldn't find any nonbinary representation anywhere, and one day we were watching "she's the man" and I just kept thinking, why isn't there something like this where the character is actually queer? After that my little character study expanded into a book, and now I can't wait for you all to meet Riley and Sebastian :-)(less)
