I love audio books! They are nearly as good as the real thing only disadvantage is when you fall asleep and can't find your spot. Oh yeah that hapens in the real ones to as well as loosing your place when interrupted. Sometimes I switch back and forth depending whether my eyes or ears want the work out. Oh the choices we have. Movies? Oh, not always the patience at this time and date. But already read many many years ago the Stand, viewed faithfully as it unfolded on television, so I see no need fora new movie (unless Bruce is still an option for the part of Larry cuz he's the Boss.)

I like audiobooks because you can have all the drama of a production without losing any of the book, as you would do in a movie. I've listened to several of Mr. King's audiobooks and lose myself in them just as I do when reading with my eyes. I hope I don't fall asleep reading, however, because I often listen while I'm driving!
I wish the Diary ofEllen Rimbauer would be released on audio. I used to have the CD's and it was excellent.
