The stream of fallout 4 was great. I have been playing it and to be able to see it from your perspective and hear your thoughts was amazing. Please keep doing it just the way you did tonight.

Thanks so much. That's nice to hear. I've never done this sort of thing before, so it's nice to hear I didn't completely suck at it....
I cant wait to see more and to see how things evolve in your streams from here. I cant help but think of how it could evolve into so many other things then just games or writing should the vote go the other direction. For instance you could use it as an outlet to do q&a's to connect with more people that can't make it to the cons like you did at the end of the stream tonight.
Thank you for including your fans in your video gaming tonight, despite all the meanies. Your commentary on the over-enthusiastic robot had me laughing and now I can't wait for tomorrow's continuation. I joined goodreads because you mentioned having a list of books you approved highly of, but I sure can't seem to figure out where it is located. I hope you or someone who reads this can point me in the right direction.
If you click on his name and go to his page on the left side under the videos there is a section called bookshelves. I believe that is what you are looking for Heather.
Goodreads can take a little getting used to, but it's a worthwhile resource. :) Here's the link I think you're looking for, Heather: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
I'm on an actual computer now, realizing how much easier it would have been from the start. Thank you both for helping me out. I have already begun adding some of his recommendations to my list!
You are welcome! Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions. This is the one social media platform I lurk on with confidence. >.<
All caught up! Thank you, Pat. That was a real treat. ^_^ I've loved watching you play D&D at PAX, but this was almost better.
I largely gave up video gaming as well, when family and writing became the clearer and more urgent priorities in my life. So getting to have a thorough introduction to a game my husband can't wait to play, while simultaneously receiving such competent narrative analysis... this was pretty much the Holy Grail of awesomeness in my book. Technical difficulties and all.
I hope you get to keep playing Fallout, and that the chance to delve back into something you love has a refreshing/beneficial affect on your writing.
Glad you get to get that gaming in. I do *think* it's against Twitch's terms of use to stream non-gaming related things, and I'm not sure where writing falls on that, so it's probably better Fallout keeps winning anyway.I'll try to jump in a stream sometime if I'm free while you're at it.
Fallout is no doubt a great series. But for me games like "Elder Scrolls - Oblivion" and "Dragon Age" are better.
Please try them out some time. I am sure you will find them far more interesting.
Magic, swords, bows are always more interesting then bullets and guns.
I love this so much, Patrick! I'd watch you on Twitch either way. I have two monitors specifically so I can watch streams in my peripheral. Have fun!
Hey Pat, if you love games, may I suggest trying the Indivisible Prototype, it is similar to Valkyrie Profile (if you ever played its in its battle system, the soundtrack is amazing and the visuals gorgeous. For some reason I cannot really pinpoint it remembers me to my mind pcture of Kvothe world. Here is the link http://indivisiblegame.com/
