HAPPY 2011! New year, new contest! What is your New Year's Resolution? Mine is to drive on a highway for the first time since 1996! Share your resolution in the comments below (and on Facebook!) to be eligible to win a cute tote bag and pink 2011 date planner, along with a signed copy of SOBO! I will draw the winner's name at random on January 14th. Good luck!
I am starting the new year with the commitment that I'll take more time for myself (including curling up with a book!) and enjoy the everyday moments with my family and friends. Of course, eating right and exercising are on the list, but being more healthy is always important--not just for a New Year's resolution! Good luck with all of your resolutions :)
My resolution is to leave my school (physical education teacher) at the latest one hour after school is finished! I love my job and my students but during the school year I tend too stay way to late and I am going to set a time each day to leave so I can be an even better teacher by taking a little more time for friends and family!
My resolution this year is to get my life organized (both my home and my mental being). I seem like I'm always running here or there to try and keep up with everything and then don't pay attention to what I really need too (like family). If my mind is more organized and the home as well, there is time for more fun things like reading with my kids and talking about the books, playing board games to build the minds, and just enjoying the small things.
I gave myself 3 New Year's resolutions this year. The first, and common one, was to eat healthier. I have been eating way too much fast food. The next was to kick the habit of drinking coffee every day. I never used to be a daily drinker so I am trying to get back to my old self. The last and biggest one... to start going to church with my daughter. We have gone through a lot in the past year with her father, and really need some positive influence and outlook. Well, I do. She is just under 2 years old.. I just want her to grow up with faith :)
