Finished!

Finally, finally, finally finished Sebastian Book #11.

That's right; it STILL doesn't have a proper title. I came up with one I liked, but the Powers That Be didn't like it, and I must admit I wasn't wild about it myself. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to come up with anything they like any better, and I'm terrified that I'm going to get stuck with something awful.

I already have the idea for #12 swirling around in my head, but it's going on the back burner while I take care of all the things I had to shove to the side during the last final push to get this thing done. This one ran a little long for reasons I will never quite understand. You'd think after writing eleven Sebastian St. Cyr mysteries--and more than twenty books all together--I'd be able to gauge a manuscript's length better, but obviously not.

And now I'm off to play with a kitten--who isn't so little any more!

Lori Hooray!! I'm a Sebastian fan and always eagerly await the next story. And a long manuscript is better than a short one since I'm always sad to reach the end of these books...and that's not something readers can say about every book we read!

That's good to hear! Thank you.

Ladiibbug As a die hard Sebastian St. Cyr & C.S. Harris fan, please be assured that the thrill over a new book is not related to "the perfect title" or the length of the book. As for more St. Cyr per book, I'm all for it!!

Candy (or should I call you Ms. Harris?), PLEASE don't sweat the title so much! We'll still have the release date marked in big red letters on our calendars. :)

Thanks for the info that the Powers That Be can overrule an author on the title. <--- *grimace* Especially a highly reviewed, great selling, long series.

I liked "When Doves Fall". Again, the title is not "all that". We *heart* your writing & more St. Cyr!!!

Thanks, Ladiibbug; that's nice to know!

Judith A good story is much more important than the title. You could call it X and I would still read it based on my enjoyment of the previous books in the series. Can't wait to read #11.

Denise Looking forward to the next book, Candace. And that's great news about the review.

Thank you for the cat pictures. The kitten looks like my Dustin when he was little, although he was never little--he was long and tall and now is even longer and taller. Maybe this is the future for your kitten?

Yes, he is incredibly long and tall. I've never had a cat configured quite like him. Maybe a long lost relative of your Dustin?!
