Home at Last

I am home, happy but exhausted. I must thank Stephanie and Paula for introducing me to the alien concept of “vacation,” where people do not multi-task, do not work at all, just relax and have fun. Of course the work portion of my travels was highly satisfying, too; we were in Israel, after all!
I am resting up now, while my chiropractor does his best to get my recalcitrant back into alignment again, but I will be doing a blog about my travels, of course, and sharing a lot of photos on Facebook. Meanwhile, here is a photo of Holly and her kennel soul-mate, Bebe. They were obviously having so much fun together that I did not feel quite as guilty about putting her in the kennel as I usually do.
PS The photo of Holly is on Facebook, of course, since I can't post photos here. :-(

Rebecca Welcome Home Sharon and hope your back improves. I will look forward to hearing about your travel:). Give Holly a hug:)

Sharon Thanks, Rebecca! Holly is fun to hug--she is as silky as a baby mink.

Rebecca Oh that's cute. I have a huge black lab and he's malting now as summer starts early. I have to brush him daily and when it gets really hot he'll be having a bath.

I bet Holly is glad to have you back:). Dogs are the best!

Sharon She found a friend while she was in the kennel, a handsome wire-haired terrier named Bebe; if you're on Facebook, you can see the photo I posted of them. But I think she was still glad to get home where she can take advantage of my guilt pangs to cadge lots of treats and hugs.

Rebecca Oh Barney is such a sook....Only a few months ago I took him to the vets to have his toenails clipped...It turned out to be an all day job as he had to be sedated...OMG! I was mortified! He kept throwing the mother of all tantrums.

Somehow I think Holly is probably much better behaved and canny enough to pull on your heart strings.
