Afsana I couldn't agree more. It's easy to be brave from behind the anonymity of a keyboard, and I think that's the biggest problem. Most people wouldn't dream of having some of those very same conversations in real life. You are absolutely right when it comes to subject matter. A book written about a topic you disagree with doesn't make it a bad book. Take Love and War, for instance. I'm only about halfway through, and I want to slap Caprice. I can't help but admire her a little too, though. I don't love the decisions she makes, but the story is still amazing. The plot is well though out and well written. To me, those are the most important things when reviewing a book.

On the other hand, I have seen authors rip readers apart for posting negative reviews. I had the very experience with an author who reviewed her own books under a fake profile. While readers should be more considerate in the way they hand out criticism, authors have to grow thicker skin and realize that when someone has taken the time to read a book, they are entitled to have an opinion about it.

Off topic, you have become one of my favorite authors. :-) I stumbled upon Aiden and Sunny's story and was so drawn into your style of writing, I promised myself that I would read anything you ever published. I hope that doesn't make me a stalker.
