Sandi *~The Pirate Wench~* I hope that never happens..Many times in my life a book has helped me get threw some bad times..kept me sane..given me a place to escape to at the end of a crappy day..taught me things about myself & how to change or deal with them ( usaually due to a character the author has created )Ive laughed with a character of the story & things dont seem so bad..Ive cried when a story is done because that character became my friend & now I have to say good-bye.
I will never buy a kindle or such like..I love the feel of the book..the cover..and when I open that book Im hoping that author can take me to whatever place she/he has created for us both.
To me an author who creates such magic has a very special gift..my life would be empty without books.
So my question is for this morning is why would you stop if you bring such joy not only to a person out there like me..but to yourself?

Christy English So true, Sandi. I really can never stop. I've aslways done it and I will keep doing it...almost as if I have no choice. I do love disappearing into new worlds, and then offering them to others.
Thank you for such a wonderful persepctive from a reader. When I love a book, whether I've read it or written it, I feel the same way you do, that those characters are real and that I do not want to leave them.

Sandi *~The Pirate Wench~* Just never give up..even when you feel its going nowhere sometimes...you have a special gift that you give to others :)
