First piece reveal of The Witch With No Name

Phew! It’s Monday! And I’ve got the first piece of The Witch With no Name‘s cover! As you can see, we’re doing something very different, color-wise, with a mostly white background. I’ll tell you why when we have a few more pieces.

part1

I’m thinking this is going to be one of my favorite covers. It’s all silver and goldish!

As if the cover wasn’t fun enough, I’m also giving away five prize packs today, each with an Ever After tour shirt (I don’t know the size. It’s free!) a cover flat of Ever After’s mass market, and a signed ARC (advanced reader copy) of Holidays are Hell. Guy is probably going to slip a bunny pin, coat tag freebie, and bus token in there too.

MondayTo have a chance to win this, (which is entirely random) just drop down to the comment box, and tell me in one post, what book you started reading the Hollows with. Was it Dead Witch Walking, or did you get started in the middle and have to go back and begin from the beginning? Or you can just tell me what you think of the new cover piece. Please, just one post here today as your post is your entry into the contest.

I will close the comments tonight at 9:00 P.M. EST, then randomly choose and email the winners right then. They will have 24 hours to get back to me with a U.S. address to claim their prize pack. If a prize pack goes unclaimed, it will go into the second-chance pot, which will be awarded on the 28th, the 10th anniversary of Dead Witch Walking and the massive Manic Monday I’ve got planned.  (You can enter this second-chance giveaway any time this week, only once though, please. Click here to go to entry post for second-chance giveaways.)

So to recap, to enter for today’s give away, tell me here what book you started reading the series with, then jump over to the second-chance giveaway page to enter for the, ah, second-chance giveaway. :-) And good luck! I’ll email the winners tonight around 9:30, EST.

If you don’t win today, I’ll be doing this again tomorrow when I reveal a second piece of the cover.

Elyse Cabrera The first book I started was Dead Witch Walking. Luckily for me I was late in the reading-hollows-series game so I think up to book 7 to the series was out already when I picked up Dead Witch Walking, so I was able to just read one after the other non stop!

Heather Dead Witch Walking. I was excited to see a series based in Cincinnati.

Teresa Woodard Dead Witch Walking. :)

Elizabeth I started with Dead Witch Walking and immediately fell in love with the characters. It is still one of my favorite series ever and I love the glimpse of the cover.

message 5: by Holly (new)

Holly Luckily I started with Dead Witch Walking. In my opinion it was refreshing to see this new take on vampires, they seemed much scarier and more sinister in a way.

message 6: by Marie (new)

Marie Dead Witch Walking was first full book but Lee Line Drifter from Unbound was my introduction to the series.

message 7: by Amy-joan (new)

Amy-joan I picked the first six books up at the library as it was a complete series and I was completely lost with what to read next (I don't read blurbs, I go solely off the cover, shallow, but I hate hate HATE spoilers).
It took me a month to pick Dead Witch Walking up, and I admit, another week to get through the first three chapters.
But then it only took me three days to read through the rest. I then bought them and started handing them out to friends (Christmas was EASY that year)

Knowing this is the end hurts so bad.
I recently finished a book where the main character dies. It's been two weeks and I still can't pick up another book.
Please please don't kill anyone. Please?
I may never recover.

:) X

Sarah I started with Dead Witch Walking and was having trouble getting into it, but once I made it to the 2nd book, I read the next 8 all in a row. I think it took me a month to read the whole series leaving only a few weeks before Undead Pool came out. Now I keep listening to the last 3 on audio books because I love those the most were Trenton and Rachel really start connecting with each other. I keep trying to get me friends to read the series because I just love the build up of the love story between Rachel and Trenton and all that Rachel has had to endure, but they seem to be scared of books with more than 500 pages. Therefore, they have to suffer listening to me talk about them all the time. Anyway, I love the books Kim. Patiently waiting for the last one and I've even gotten my husband reading the graphic novels since those are the kind of books that he usually reads (mostly batman, but change is good). Keep up the good writing.!!! The sad thing is that I read your books after I joined Scribd, but now, when I want to go back to reread them, they are no longer available. Guess that means I am going to have to purchase the first 8. Already working on getting them all on audio.

Cindy I started at the beginning with "Dead Witch Walking", and couldn't get back to the library fast enough to get the next books in the series in order. This has been a fantastic story and I have enjoyed reading each book, have recommended them to friends and looked forward to each new release. Though I know that all good things must come to an end, I admit that I will miss this story line and the excellent characters you have created for us. I'm looking forward to seeing your next project.
