I have gone from being completely unaware of the M/M genre to being neck deep in it in less than three years. I am continually amazed at the quality of the writing and the intelligence of the authors and editors involved in this wonderful community. I have experienced a very warm welcome and an entree into professional writing. "Grateful" doesn't
even come close to describing the open-handed generosity I have received. I just wanted to gush.

I am currently in editing on Whipping Boy which is an AU featuring a shattered America in an alternate future. Gabriel Shea takes a position as bodyguard and "punishment surrogate" for Prince Marc Vincent in the kingdom of Kentuckiana. Society, much like ours today, concentrates on purging homosexuals since the kingdom's near ruinous war with Tennessee has plunged the economy into a death spiral. Prince Marc's uncle is next in line for the throne if he can dispose of Marc. Gabriel and Marc struggle to keep themselves alive through wave after wave of political attacks and assassination attempts. Finally, it seems that their enemies will prevail and Gabriel is called upon for the ultimate sacrifice.
I am also finishing a book about an attorney and a hustler called Promised Land. Both men have been rejected by their families because they are gay. This unlikely pair find love at a time when the hustler's pimp has sinister plans for him. Can a tax attorney fight a criminal syndicate and win.

I started reading M/M at the end of 2011 and will never go back.
