Willow Excellent list, Regan! I think number 7 is my biggest pet peeve - Moral lectures disguised as romance.

I despise being preached to as well. Yes every good book should have a premise, but you don’t need to bash me over the head with it. Dickens made social comments all the time, but I never felt like I was being lectured. It was just the backdrop of his stories. He just showed it.
