Long Time Coming

Okay, in the past year and a half I got tied up in a stupid online game I have sworn never to play again. The damned thing not only sucked away my time but it killed my writing. For those interested in getting things done you should never, ever, ever play Lord of Ultima. It will destroy your life and leave you destitute.

Now that that is out of my system I have managed to get another story done. If all things go as expected it should get horrible reviews. I say that because it seems as if my more outlandish and extreme stuff gets good reviews, while the more "normal" stuff tends towards average reviews, at best. My latest is a "normal" story, over all.

For anyone who cares, I will get a link up soon, and I hope to be more of a participant in other things here.

Kyra H!

The reason your outlandish stuff gets such good reviews is because it's awesome, not because there's anything wrong with the 'other.' That said, when can we get another outlandish story/novelette/novel?

H. Dean In reply to Kyra:
That was probably one of the more comical compliments I have received - awesome? I would blush at such a compliment if it was within my capabilities. But evil rarely blushes.

I am working on a couple of ideas that are sort of slow in progress, thus far. It's always the set-up that takes it out of me. The rest just sort of flows right out. The first is a Jerry O'Connell story and the second is sort of a sci-fi-adventure spoof very much heavily inspired by Edgar Rice Burroughs and his Carson of Venus series. If I do it right it will set up several books.

Incidentally, the story I just completed has been sent to the online publisher. Unfortunately, I will have to wait at least 3 more weeks before it sees publication since he is vacationing.
