Question for my sweets that love to read out there. Would you rather have a book end in a happy ending or a cliff hanger. Which one would get you to buy the next book in a series?

Pamela, I'd probably go for the happy ending. If it's a cliffhanger, I usually feel manipulated. Of course, maybe the best way to encourage reading of the next book is to have a satisfying ending with one or two strings of the plot unresolved. What's your preference?
