As a bookstore events coordinator, I need to tell you that the best way to make this happen would be to let the bookstore know. His next book tour will be planned months ahead of the release, and the bookstore won't request him if they don't think anyone in the area will be interested in attending. Pat has shown that he contacts any bookstore in the area when he travels and has free time, so it's left to the bookstore to be welcome to the idea of hosting him.

Hi Toni, I can't tell if you're responding to me, so I'll answer anyway. I am a bookstore events coordinator, but not the coordinator for the Books-A-Million in Nashville. I work for New Hampshire's oldest independently operated bookstore (est 1898!). Sorry to disappoint you. (I can, however, get you a signed copy of something from Terry Brooks, he's coming by at the end of July). Just so you know, if you contact a store ahead of time to ask that they have a specific item on hand to purchase at a signing, they will ALWAYS order it for you because it is a guaranteed sale. You can also check their inventory online.
