Lurlene McDaniel Writing is lonely work...alone in your head with "people" who live only in your imagination. Certainly an agent and an editor help with their comments when a script is finished, then polished. But it isn't until a book is published, bought by readers, and the writer gets feedback that you get a true sense of how good you did---or didn't do in a particular book. Readers comments can elevate a writer sky high. Or make the writer crash land. Every book must stand on its own. Readers are the final jury.

Robin Ms. McDonald, I have been reading your books since I was in high school. My mom bought me one of the Last Wishes books. I love your books and am looking forward to the new series. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us.

Lurlene McDaniel And I thank you for your kind comments. It's good for a writer to know that she doesn't "labor in vain." I spend many hours, days, weeks alone with a computer pulling a story from my head and trying to have it make sense for readers.
