dear sir,i am from India,I am 25yr Old woman,i have read around 200 books bt none of them stirred my soul like the kite runner did. i have read thousand splendid suns also bt it lacked the reality and truthfullness of the kite runner.it does not only make a person cry but mourn over the death of such a grand and eternal empire whose history bought a mythological change in my country and gave Indian soil a ruler like Akbar.it is jst not a book bt the biography of every Afghan.the book must have bought toorrent of tears frm every readers eye.i m sorry for posting comment so late as i m not at all web savvy and believe more in writing than typing.
I love the kite-runner. This is an insignificant comment but i just want to say, I LOVE THE KITE-RUNNER. Go Afghanistan, Go Somalia and many other places in the world, me i'm a illiterate at the world past. Your story shared your country, you shared your country to the WORLD. I'm amazed, you make me WANT to be a writer. I love Hassan, and Amir is kind of like me. A coward. But your book shares humility, being noble and patient somehow, and I felt so much closer to my God. So thank you. and go help the world, i support you too :)
Sir, It's splendid!!! The thousand splendid suns. I just read it and i'm moved. I know very little of Afganistan and it's women.. but it touched my heart, my eyes. Thanks sir, for depicting such a story, i felt being with marium and liala in all theirs ups and downs. Noe i'm dieing to collect the kite-runner.
Kite Runner was one of my best books, Loved Khaled's writing. The movie was great too. Excellent it is a must read for all readers.
Mr.Khaled. I did read few times; Kite runner, & Thousand splendid suns. Thru my live I had chance to read many books in different languages similar to YOURS story, But I was very deeply touch ,and my filing was so strong ,that Your talent as a writer , and ambassador of Your culture, should be recognizable in the highest lecturer level in every school in the world.Maksymilian.
I just finished The Kite Runner today. I know I'm a bit late in reading it. It will take me a few days to digest it. It was like eating a delicious unforgettable meal with great company and an evening where you make life long friends over that dinner. Bravo. Great work. I am on the second draft of my first novel and reading your book will help me make mine more....just more. I could smell, taste and touch your story. Your descriptions were that rich. Thank you. Your book has enriched my life.
Please consider doing a book signing in New York! And the Mountains Echoed was incredible! Thank you for sharing your writing with the world. You are an inspiration.
Hi ,I have recently read The mountains Echoed but not finish it yet, when I read the first chapter I feel a deep freedom for my gone son my dearest .It was surprising because I asked same question from myself as Baba did it and answered it same again,I missed him(my son) so terrible but at the same time happiness and piece for him.
hello!! i've read 'a thosand splendid suns' ,and i am in love with that book... The writing and expressions are beautiful..!! learnt a lot about women of afganistan..
Hi,I am agree the expression are wonderful and it means(at least for me)thewriter has a deep opinion about that issue and show it completely cooked.
Hi I have read many books and at the same time I wish I could find a wayTo writing my story like you.I will try ,hopping to find it.
Bula vinaka Mr Hosseini. I am in dire need of the 'The Kite Runner'. I have done with 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' and 'And The Mountains Echoed'. To be frank with you, your novels moved me. The last time I was touched and yearned for historical fiction was 2001 with Gina Nahai's 'Cry of the Peacock'.
Thanks alot for being my best author. Thanks still for introducing me to the Islam World.

In my opinion, in our life cycle, we have just one sin. It’s robbery.
Every other sin is a variation of robbery.
When you kill a person, you rob a life.
When you tell a lie to somebody, you rob somebody’s right to the truth.
When you strike somebody, you rob somebody’s right to the safety.
When you don’t work very well, you rob productivity.
And we can use more examples about the sin of robbery
