What’cha Reading this Weekend?

Carly Icon

I read the long awaited Wolf with Benefits by Shelly Laurenston (shifter/insanity) … wish it had had more hero/heroine time but beside that – fantastic – with qualification – if you’ve never read the series, you definitely want to catch up with at last some before diving into this one or you will be lost!

I also read Maya Banks’ Highlander Most Wanted (book 2 in series) and yep, I cried ;)

Read Thrown By a Curve by Jaci Burton – HOT! Good read!

And two teasers for our weekly jungle friends and newbies … I’ve read Julie’s DIRTY DARE, The Rescue … yep it’s new … and coming soon — LUCKY YOU! A glimpse or two of beloved Marisela and a hot new couple for ya plus down and dirty suspense. AND I read Janelle’s The Marriage Diaries Volume 2 – THE SEDUCTION … It’s Dean’s turn to plan … SIZZLING HOT! Available soon – and I may have read on Facebook that she’s looking for reviewer reads … Just sayin’

WHAT ARE YOU READING?

Chris Brandstatter Hi Carly! I am reading Robyn Carr's newest book - "The Wanderer". Different that Virgin River, but very good. I've read Lisa Kessler's "Night Demon" - that was very good.

Carly Phillips Oooh sounds good! Thanks, Chris!

Michelle Carly, I noticed you read "Wolf with Benefits". I just read a series by Nicky Charles Law of the Lycans series(even though it isn't my usual genre.) Gotta say, could not put it down. Read two books in a day and a half. Have to say they were great

Carly Phillips Michelle, what's the tone of the Lycans series? Wolf with Benefits was pure humor!

message 5: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Suspense, mystery (and a touch of murder) and love story.

Carly Phillips Thanks :)

message 7: by Marcelle (new)

Marcelle Cole Began reading Maggie Robinson's February 13 release of Captain Durant's Countess. So far it is sizzling! There is the obligatory villain, the scarred and somewhat damaged hero and the intelligent but unrealized heroine. About 45% through and while the villain has not appeared in the script much has been noted to identify him as the creep he is. I so hope it ends bad for him!!

Chris Brandstatter I've got "wolf with Benefits" ready to read. I love that series! Right now I'm reading Christie Ridgway's "The Love Shack". The Lycans series sounds good...
