Help!

I’ll have to count on Rania and my other Facebook friends to do my daily history posts for the next few days, as I won’t even be coming up for air. Whatever possessed me to write a thousand page book in which everyone was dead at the end? And the British galley proofs are over 1200 pages—shudder. Meanwhile, Coeur de Lion is in a monumental Angevin sulk because I am spending so much time with the wrong Richard. (Mom always loved you best..) Holly has not had a walk since before the Flood, the house looks as if I had the Vandals and Visigoths over for a weekend, and I have given up sleep for Lent. However, my wonderful British publisher has agreed to bring out a new e-book that will incorporate all of the corrections, changes, and revisions. (in the new, improved Sunne, Richard wins at Bosworth.) So that will make all my suffering worthwhile.

Wanda If I were closer, I could walk Holly and clean the house.

Ernestina You could put 4-5 different conclusions, so that every theory could be satisfied.
How can this Richard be the wrong one, he is a Coeur de Lion too (he would not have lead that last charge otherwise).
And your Angevin Richard should not be in such a sulk, he's been his mother's darling for too long and he needs a bit of competition (!)

Gin Tadvick Taking my advice on historical alternatives I see! I will be thinking of you. Should have tried an easier sacrifice for Lent. I gave up pizza - my comfort food. And challenged my self to reading at least one book a week that had to do with Faith. This is difficult because I would rather be reading and rereading your books!

I've been watching season 2 of Game of Thrones and wonder if Mr. Martin has similar thoughts...

LOL, Sharon! I've put the Lionheart to work in the kitchens basting a chicken with lovely herbs.

Sharon Thank you, Charlene. I wondered where he'd gone! I was afraid he was off killing someone, so I am glad to hear you got him to do something productive and peaceful.

RJay Hi Sharon-
Richard wins in the end because he has become larger than life through the Richard III Society and historical authors like you. He worked on behalf of the common man and the commoners have never forgotten and are still moving heaven and earth to resurrect Richard's royal reputation!
