My interview with Nancy Pearl

Here it is!(I couldn’t get it to embed, sorry.)

I just want to say: thank you so much to Nancy Pearl, Paul, Deanna, the lovely folks at University Book Store, and everybody else who helped make this happen (Trinity, Robert, Konrad, Paige, Flann! You helped!). I had so much fun, I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to keep chatting. Maybe we’ll chat again sometime!

Jan Thanks for posting the interview, I really enjoyed hearing about the process of writing Seraphina, and all your thoughts about plot and character and world-building and romance and vocabulary. I think you do a fantastic job at writing humor (Orma is often accidentally hilarious, Serpahina's self awareness is refreshing and light hearted, the banter between Seraphina and the Prince is adorable) and hope you'll have a chance to do more of that someday.

Rachel Hartman Aw, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I have a certain amount of trouble watching myself talk about myself...

Josephine Thanks for the interview, I loved how you talked about the balance you struck in world-building, writing, and plot. It actually helped something click for me about what type of books I like. And how I'm often frustrated reading purely plot driven books. (I like the writing and the world building side better):)
