Getting Ready for Halloween!

Time seems slow, yet fast.

I won’t be doing Halloween this year. I’ll leave candy at the door, but trying to avoid people like a hermit. Measles are spreading in Texas and I have no immunity to it because of the stem cell transplant. I can’t get any immunizations until December, which puts me at risk. ugh.

Have a super day!!!

Darla Taylor Great picture! :) Sorry you can't participate in Halloween. But yes, it's best to avoid people right now. I can only hope I'm immune to measles. Funny story that. Both my mom and my grandmother took me to get the measles vaccine when I was little which I didn't remember. But while I was pregnant with my son, they did blood work, and I had no immunity to measles! And measles was making a comeback then too. I had to get another measles vaccine. Then when I was pregnant with my daughter, the same thing happened! So, yet another vaccine! LOL

Take care, have a fantastic day and a wonderful weekend. <3
