Division Mythos artwork for upcoming project

The very talented Peter Schwotzer is helping me build some wonderful pages about the Division Mythos and we’ll hopefully be able to go live with them in the next few weeks.

He also came up with a wonderful idea… You draw, or paint, or sculpt, or what-have-you, some fan art. Can be anything that you really liked from one of my Division Mythos books. Take a snapshot of it and send a pic my way at perpetual_voodoo (at…) yahoo (dottie) com, then we’ll use the fan art to adorn the site!

I will also give anybody who sends something to decorate the site a special gift that no one else will ever get, something one of a kind in thanks. So go draw something. I’ll credit you and when I’m famous in a few years you can show your family the artwork you have on my Division Mytho’s pages. Win-win.

Dave Thomas Really cool idea, Lee. I'm interested to see what readers of the Division Mythos come up with. If I had even a shred of artistic talent, I'd happily contribute, but instead I'll just stick to promoting the project whereever I can.

My thoughts exactly!

Chris I am like Dave and Rook. I never really advanced past stick figures...

Lee Thompson Thanks, guys. And don't feel bad about never advancing beyond stick figures. Lol. I'm no artist either but think I will make some paintings for it that I can sell too. That should be a fun project and if you haven't tried painting it's super relaxing.

Here's a painting I'll probably put on there, plus I'll paint some of the scenes from the novels and novellas

Chris You may have already told us, but what is this book about and when can we buy it?

Great painting, Lee. Really makes me want to read this one.

message 6: by Lee (new)

Lee Thompson I'm sorry, Chris. I don't understand the question. Which book? Lol. I may be having a brain fart.

message 7: by Chris (new)

Chris I am still at work and kind of old for multi-tasking. I thought this art was for "When We Join Jesus in Hell." I am curious what that one is all about.

message 8: by Lee (new)

Lee Thompson I hear you. And I can't share anything on When We Join Jesus in Hell, yet. It's a stand-alone though, not part of the Division Mythos. Right now I'm working on another stand-alone, too, that deals with racism and family conditioning and redemption. Should be fun. The artwork is for the Division Mythos website which will have all kinds of cool stuff like a Timeline for the books, character sketches, the Monsters, the inhabitants, themes in the novels and novellas, etc. Should be awesome!

Chris I understand---and it makes me want to know even more what it is about!!! LOL. I just sent a request to personalize Lenora and Jagged Edges. Unfortunately I bought NR4DC and IBR from Kobo so I can't do it for them.

Lee Thompson Lol on Jesus. Great on the Kindlegraph! I'll go sign them now! Thanks, Chris!

message 11: by Chris (new)

Chris Thanks, Lee! I really appreciate it. Have a great day!

message 12: by Chris (new)

Chris Thanks for signing my Kindle books, Lee. There are lots of roads ahead in your career and lots of stories to be told and I am looking forward to all of them.

message 13: by Lee (new)

Lee Thompson My pleasure, Chris! I'm looking forward to where my career goes, too. :D Man, Peter Schwotzer sent me what the Division Mythos website is going to look like and it's amazing. Can't wait until I can share it with you and some other people.

message 14: by Chris (new)

Chris I can't wait til all of the books are published. I look at the titles of the unpublished ones and I just wonder what happens in that one. I am sure the outline for the whole series is massive.

message 15: by Lee (new)

Lee Thompson Thanks, dude! And yeah, the overall story is massive. I'm going to share quite a bit about it on the Division Mythos website with character sketches, heroes and enemies, etc. But it'll contain some spoilers. :P

message 16: by Chris (new)

Chris Maybe someone will pick it up and make a TV series out of it like Heroes or Lost.

message 17: by Lee (new)

Lee Thompson Ah, one can dream. :)
