THE ENDGAME OF VAMPIRE DIARIES

[image error]The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. Yes, I am alive. I’m even writing frantically night and day. I’ll give more details about that later, but meanwhile I’d like to answer a question I get very frequently in my emails. It is “how would THE VAMPIRE DIARIES endgame have played out?” or “Who would end up with whom? Or “Who would Elena pick? So I’d like to share my answer to an email I got today, and maybe allow other people to understand the situation.

Hi Heather--

Thank y...

Dish Wanderer L.J Smith it is great to hear from you and you are such a tease still not telling us the endgame :) and also thank you for creating such a wonderful character like Damon Salvatore and I am not reading any of those Ghostwriter's books, for me the series ended with 'Midnight'.

Sara I haven't read any of your ghostwriter books yet, but I was wondering if you find that they stay true to your story and characters? I'd like to give them a try just cause I like to know what happens after whenever a book ends.

unworthy That ending would really be amazing, too bad it won't end that way..

message 4: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Well that's....disappointing. Luckily, I have long stopped caring about Elena and her boy problems. But I am sad that I don't get to read anymore about Bonnie. I really do love her. I'm too wary of the ghostwriter books to give them a try right now. But maybe I'll give in later and devour them all over a weekend. We'll see.

Cassandra Couldn't you just write the books and post them on your website even if they are smaller than what you anticipated I'm sure almost everyone who has read these books would be thrilled to see how you would have ended the story. Or even put a short story in those anthologies like immortal or kisses from hell.

message 6: by Alisha (new)

Alisha For those wanting her to finish the series as a self published thing on her site, she most likely is not allowed because of the contract. Horrible, but I'm positive Lisa has more stories we will love in her head. Thankfully this is only two of her series, so more could be continued with other series. My personal favorites The Night World and The Forbidden Game were at least untouched by the contract. :)
