Hello Robert.Yes, it's based on an actual scholar. I think it is a paraphrase or parody. I'll have to look at that page to refresh my memory of how close it is to the actual scholar... I suppose I'd prefer not to name him as I don't want these correspondences to be taken too literally.

I have always wanted to ask you a question. In your novel Blue on Blue, my favorite to date, you reference a text (pg6) by Dr. Ratnasingham. Was this an actual theory of art? Or possibly words paraphrased from an actual scholar.
