A Post so Jason Can Have a Link

Apparently Goodreads will not allow non-Goodreads links in comments. I guess this is because they would probably be almost entirely links for things that nobody wants.

Which isn't to say that people are rushing to read what I offer, but ONE PERSON has indeed requested this link.

Jason, here you go:

I promise I'm very pleasant in real life and not normally this much of a maniac.

Jason Pierce Mania suits me just fine, ha ha. And thanks for the link. A mutual friend just let me know this was up, and I enjoyed the article.

By complete coincidence, I had to replace the battery in my wireless mouse last night as it's been acting up for several days. I'd rather have my old corded one from many moons ago, but it died after about 87 years of service (the cord frayed, or something). I got a keyboard/mouse set for my laptop because I like to use a full size keyboard when I get decisively engaged with writing, and the number pad comes in handy as well. And the trackpad on the laptop... If the mouse dies, I pretty much just don't use the computer except for essential tasks because I hate it that much, ha ha. We seem to be of one accord there.

This is what I don't understand about these goddamn things. Surely the people who design wireless crap design it ON A COMPUTER. It's not like someone who knows stuff about physics but is like 65 years old designing a waterslide he'll never ride, it's someone designing a thing that they would, in theory, use every day!
