By complete coincidence, I had to replace the battery in my wirel..."
This is what I don't understand about these goddamn things. Surely the people who design wireless crap design it ON A COMPUTER. It's not like someone who knows stuff about physics but is like 65 years old designing a waterslide he'll never ride, it's someone designing a thing that they would, in theory, use every day!
By complete coincidence, I had to replace the battery in my wireless mouse last night as it's been acting up for several days. I'd rather have my old corded one from many moons ago, but it died after about 87 years of service (the cord frayed, or something). I got a keyboard/mouse set for my laptop because I like to use a full size keyboard when I get decisively engaged with writing, and the number pad comes in handy as well. And the trackpad on the laptop... If the mouse dies, I pretty much just don't use the computer except for essential tasks because I hate it that much, ha ha. We seem to be of one accord there.
