David Foresi I remember reading Pandora's Star and thinking that I really didn’t care if it had an ending. If it went on forever I’d be okay with that even if Peter Hamilton might have to suffer for my cause. I didn’t know that the story went on beyond the first book so I didn’t realize that I was committing to such a large story.

Maybe the effect is more like a self perpetuating system wherein, one must have some patience to begin reading a thick tome, but in the process one also gains patience. The feedback loop begins again and now you are ready to read the unabridged dictionary or maybe the entire Encyclopedia.

Joseph Carrabis David,
I've read books like that, books where I didn't want there to be an ending, books which so brought me into their world this one went away.
Glorious, that.
Enjoy your readings.
Joseph
