Tymber LaRain At times, I find myself believing that I must one day be an unmoved believer. However, in recent years I have found the beauty of disaster and its effects on the body, for it is all a reminder of why God is the rock and why He is the calm. It all brings me back to the Father, drawing me closer when I have unknowingly become content and unaware of my distance from Him. It is a blessing to know that God uses such uncomfortable trials to bring us back to such beauty. Thank you for this reminder.

“When things calm down, and they always do when I drop anchor in God, knowing He is at the helm, I realize storms and heavy seas are a gift from God. Why? Because they bring me to my knees again and again, reminding me to keep my eyes on Jesus. Only in Him can I ride the waves in peace.” - Francine Rivers
